Hypnotherapy is as controlling as the client allows the practitioner. Twenty five percent of the population are easily manipulated, for the rest, they think for themselves using skepticism to protect vested interests. If one is truly ready to change old familiar negative patterns then they must get to the root of it. Like weeding, if you don`t get to the root the weed will keep coming back.  This means enduring a Little discomfort but it is worth the final Masterpiece, You! This essentially says, You are always aware of what you relinquish but ones will power is questioned. When excellent trust between client and practitioner is present then phenomenal healing occurs. Hypnotherapy for me, the white mans Shaman, allows me to journey with my client into their subconscious, fishing for the root. The Hypnotherapist must be creative and convincing to a persons analytical brain for acceptance of positive behavior. Having been through most of these bad habits myself I`m aware of the self talk one does to convince themselves to keep repeating destructive behavioral patterns. The importance of finding a comfortable relationship with an excellent Hypnotherapist is relative to how much disclosure occurs. If one  cleans up their inner mold, then they can make room for a cleaner thought process.

People keep telling me their analytical side is in far too much in control to let hypnosis work. Well this is silly. All one has to do is tell themselves they will let it work and then it starts to work, funny that. the rest is up to the Hypnotherapist to do their skills with the client. If the client  refuses to listen and is obstinate about Hypnotherapy then the likely hood of them being voluntarily hypnotized is slim. Unethical Covert Techniques can still be used on them with a really good snake charmer.
I wont share the techniques to divert the critical analyzer.  It's the analyzers that  read this post. :)
